Very comfortable room with balcony looking at the mountains. Hotel was away from the hustle of downtown Banff, so it was nice and quiet, but still convenient. They gave us free bus passes to get around town for easy access. The staff was very friendly and stay was very comfortable.

At check-in, staff offered an upgrade to a larger room at a reduced rate. It was on the quieter side of the hotel. It had a separate sitting room and dining area with facilities to heat food, if required. The hotel had a laundry facility for guests to use, which was extremely helpful.

Everything! Location, staff, breakfast was magnificent, dinner was delicious and the menu was extensive. Our rooms were very spacious, spotlessly clean with stunning views of the mountains and comfortable beds. The hotel is within walking distance to all of the beautiful town of Canmore and other pretty walking trails.

This resort, built in 1888, is styled after a Scottish Baronial castle and is a National Historic Site. Located in Banff National Park, it offers 11 restaurants and 14 shops.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was spotless, comfortable, and very quiet - exactly as described and shown in the photos. The owner was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to return for another skiing trip in the future.
