Location was perfect. Holy mountain Saana on the one side, beautiful Kilpisjärvi lake on the other side, several reindeer strolling around. The accommodation had all the necessary things for a pleasant stay. Great location for daily hikes around. Even the Norwegian fjords are a mere half-hour car ride away. Kilpisjärvi is my favourite area in Finland so far - highly recommended for all hiking and nature enthusiasts.

The place is exactly as described, quiet, intimate and clean. The big windows give a great feeling of being in touch with the outside. The breakfast restaurant is a short walk away and is great deal. We would definitely stay again.

It was amazing! Food was exceptional and the property is just gorgeous. It has a reindeer pin where you can meet greet reindeers. You can also use the snowshoe included in each igloo to watch around the winter forest behind the igloos. Not mentioning that each igloo has jacuzzi and sauna, which is so convenient. Staff were all very friendly.

Kätkä Lake Lodge is truly a magical place! We really enjoyed our stay here and honestly, the lodge was our favorite stay during our week long trip to Finland. Firstly, Mikko, the owner is a fantastic host. Always there to answer our questions and really appreciated his help/comments regarding road conditions before we got there. Second, if you are looking for a place that provides peace and tranquility, the lodge is it. We really enjoyed snowshoeing on the trail across the way, it made me so happy! The breakfast options were great as well - lots to choose from. My friend is vegetarian and she enjoyed the spread as well. Kiitos very much Mikko!

We went there for our honeymoon, it was a a surprise gift for my husband’s birthday, and we loved it! The cabins were very comfortable, the beds are so warm & cozy and the bathroom really clean and had a bidet!! ++ for that! The food at Levi was exceptional!! Kudos to the chef! and the manager and staff were really sweet and helpful!

Location was perfect! It's only 10 mins from Levi town but at the same time is secluded enough (no light pollution) that we're able to see the aurora/ northern lights at night just outside the cabin!! Host is very kind, they kindly informed us whether the aurora would be visible or not when we asked.. We will never forget this experience. Cabin was very warm. There's also a lovely, friendly orange cat from the cabin next door. We love the cat so much. The bathroom and sauna inside is also very clean and comfortable to use. The size of the cabin is not big, it's suitable and perfect for 2 persons only. Thank you so much to the host! We were very sad leaving this place.
