I can’t recommend this place enough. The rooms are modern, comfortable, well-maintained, and incredibly cosy — everything you need for a relaxing stay. But what truly sets this place apart are the hosts. Jolandi is an amazing, warm, and genuinely caring person who makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Beyond her wonderful personality, I asked her on very short notice to help set up the room for a special engagement — and she went completely out of her way to exceed my expectations. We had the most wonderful stay only 30 mins from the gate to Kruger national park and surrounded by private reserves. We absolutely loved everything about this place. The lodge is tastefully decorated and the landscape is beautifully maintained. The staff were amazing, from the gatekeeper to the reception and restaurant teams, always eager to help and to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It was also a pleasure to meet the owner, Tommy, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He assisted us with planning private game drives and gave us great tips for our self-drive safari adventures. The breakfast box was extremely generous, very well packed and perfectly organised. It didn’t only include breakfast, but also more than enough food to enjoy a picnic lunch in Kruger. Overall, our stay exceeded all expectations, and we can only say thank you to everyone at Sunbird Oasis Lodge.

An incredible place, made with so much love. A hot jacuzzi awaits you upon check-in. We were tired after a full day on safari, and it was perfect. We warmed up perfectly in the jacuzzi. The room itself is a mini-house in a beautiful style. In the morning, breakfast was served at the agreed-upon time, and it was delicious. The experience was incredible; we were only disappointed that we only stayed one night. The area is fenced and secure.

The place is in nature and hence very quiet. It is a beautiful setting and there is lots of space in the house. One can walk on the property and enjoy the views. There is a spa on site. Fantastic.

I want to thank the staff of Maroelani lodge. We stayed may 15-17 and it was a Amazing experiencie. The service, the atenttion, the rooms, the food and the game drives. We had a welcome drink that was so good & also all the wines and cocktails were excelent. It was my birthday and they made it extra special, one of the most wonderful ones. They even sang happy birthday to me with a cake and decorate my room. It was the best service, stay here. You won't regret it. Thank thank you for the incredible stay.
