The setting by the dam is Idyllic with a constant stream of birds and animals. The beds are very comfortable and the outdoor shower and large (indoor) bath are a real treat. The breakfast box and welcome box were more than adequate.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen.

This stay was unplanned and booked last minute. And we didn´t regret it! Tasty food, great wine and a lodge with a view over the game farm. The 2 game tours (evening and morning) ,included into the room rate, are fascinating. We saw all big 5, except leopard, but therefore Cheetahs on the hunt.

Modern, well laid out and comfortable. The bed was amazing and the Bathroom, with a wonderful bath, 2 basins and 2 showers was incredible. Beautifully designed and decorated. With a terrace and sea view. Would definitely recommend and will return.

What a gem on the Garden route. Everything was tastefully done and of quality.I loved the quiet in nature. Thanks for all the personal touches John was friendly and helpfull. The hosts checked in on me as a solo female guest . , which was much appreciated. The hot tub was heavenly.

I enjoyed the overall cleanliness of the property. The location was also very well located, it is walking distance to restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet at night. Staff are very friendly and helpful

Best place to stay if you are going to Tulbagh for a weekend with the most beautiful view and amazing cabin. Lovely basket in fridge with goodies for breakfast. Hot tub worked amazingly and braai facilities are also very good. Planning to go there annually!
