Property info

Rivergate is a family-run, self-catering guest farm. We provide a peaceful, authentic countryside escape featuring friendly alpacas, miniature donkeys, and beautiful landscaped gardens. Each cottage is fully equipped for self-catering, some are complete with their own wood-fired hot tub. We love exceeding expectations, but want to ensure guests understand this is a real farm setting, not a traditional luxury hotel experience.

Neighborhood info

Stanford is a quaint heritage village between Hermanus and Gansbaai. It has a few lovely shops and restaurants to explore, and has a lovely Saturday farm market. Rivergate is 2,5km outside of Stanford, on the Wortelgat Road which due to its river and lagoon frontage and its access to the Walker Bay Reserve has become a tourist destination in itself.
