What an amazing place to stay. The decor is an eruption of colors and patterns that somehow adds up to a pleasing and comfortable place to be. You can tell the management has a passion for interior decoration and furthermore everything seems clean, updated and well maintained. The management and staff were friendly and excellent. A bit hard to find, but the experience was definitely worth the effort.

Love the place. I had the best sleep after travelling long hours from Canada. I had a great and comfortable stay. Love how clean and the room smells fresh and clean. I had a lovely room with the balcony. If I ever go back to Seville, I will be staying again for sure.

Cathedral Boutique, formerly known as Hotel DaVinci, is the kind of place that whispers “modern renovation” while simultaneously mumbling “our Wifi on the fourth floor has trust issues.” But wow, the view. The best view in town of the cathedral, the kind that makes you forgive small sins and maybe even invent a few more. The rooftop terrace deserves its own passport. You can stand there pretending you are in a medieval epic, overlooking spires and stone while sipping whatever you managed to bring yourself, because there is no breakfast. None. Zero. Nada. Self check in is the law of the land here, which makes the whole arrival experience feel like you are breaking into a clean, modern little hideout with excellent lighting. Inside, everything is newly refurbished, sleek, modern, and clean enough to make your mother proud. The only thing not upgraded is the Wifi on the fourth floor, which behaves like a medieval pigeon deciding whether or not it feels like delivering your message. For the view alone, this place wins. For the rooftop terrace, it triumphs. For the peace of self check in, it succeeds. And for the Wifi, well, bring your own data plan.

I stayed here during a work trip and overall had a lovely experience. However, finding the hostal was quite a challenge. My taxi dropped me off at Alfaro Plaza, which is about 100 meters from the hotel, but I didn’t realize that at the time. I hadn’t read the text message the hostal had sent with directions, so I ended up wandering for 30 minutes trying to find the place—no one could point me in the right direction! When my husband arrived three days later, his taxi dropped him off at a different plaza, claiming it was as far as it could go, and he ended up walking around for nearly an hour. So if you’re arriving by taxi, make sure to check your directions in advance. Also be aware that Google Maps can be unreliable in the historic quarter. Once I settled in, the stay was excellent. My room was beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the small fridge and kettle. A basket of teas and instant coffee was replenished daily, which was a nice touch. Being in the historic center means you're surrounded by great restaurants, charming cafés, and ice cream shops. Despite the central location, the rooms were very quiet. I would gladly stay here again—just be sure you know how to find it!
