Hotels near Myllypuro Metro Station, Helsinki

Great location by the seaside in an extremely quiet and peaceful area. The place seemed to be favored by religious guests, some orthodox iconography here and there, and even a chapel. :) The buildings are a bit old, I'm guessing from late 70's or early 80's and it shows on the outside. Interiors are quite basic, as you would expect at this very low price point, but good enough unless you plan to spend a lot of time in your room. Our rooms didn't have AC, but at least on the first floor the rooms stayed cool as the area is well covered by trees.

Good location, close to train, bus and tram station, next to market and kiosk, close to historical landmark on hill (Taivaskallio). Friendly and helpful staff, clean room.

The place was really great. I wanted to check out a different neighborhood of Helsinki on my second visit and this was near some interesting spots. Nice bars nearby. Easy access to the train station and airport. The place was cool and funky and the staff were excellent. Breakfast downstairs was amazing.

This is not a paid advertisement - but an actual opinion. And the first time I ever take the time to write a hotel review - but for Maria I will do one. The Maria Hotel is exceptional in every single way. Having stayed in many of the best hotels in the world, I am happy to say that Maria is among the very very best hotels that I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. If you are regular at the likes of Four Seasons etc, you will be extremely happy to stay at Maria. Without a shadow of a doubt, the best hotel in Finland and one of the best in the world. To say that the hotel is luxurious - would be an understatement - it is stunning and so well thought - the rooms are great, the beds are amazing and the facilities, such as the spa, sauna, bar, massages and restaurants and food are all five stars. Thank you very much for the entire team, who made us feel very welcome and comfortable from the first minute upon arrival - from the smiling and pro-active bellmen to Lisa at the reception, who gave us such a warm welcome and was truly the face of Maria from the first moment. Also big thanks to Bryan, who manages the Garden Terrace restaurant, who continued to amaze us with his wonderful hospitality, world class service, guest attendance, recommendations and positive energy. The Maria Hotel just became our new home in Helsinki :) Much recommended!

I really liked the location: not far from the center, but on a fairly quiet street. There's a grocery store nearby. The building is new and modern. The room was comfortable and spacious, with dishes, a stove, a kettle, and everything you need for a snack. There was coffee, tea, and cream. The shower was comfortable and clean, with soap and shampoo. The lighting was cozy. The bed was comfortable. I also liked the sauna, 7th floor. There are terraces where you can go out and enjoy the beautiful views of Helsinki. The breakfast was good, right in the building, and it was delicious. A good price for all these amenities.

Basically there was a bed and the room was clean. Enough parking. But that's really it. It is cheap for Helsinki, but too expensive for what it is.

The room was spacious, clean and great for its value. Staying with a dog short term was included in the price. There were no parking spaces left in the location, but the staff informed us about the free parking near by

Quite nicely located Hotel in the western part of Helsinki. The Hotel is a bit old, but very Finnish style, simple, clean, friendly. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Clean, modern and the breakfast was excellent. It was near all the shops we were interested in.

Nice room, good location, excellent breakfast. Checked-in very fast. I had no time to visit sauna, but it is a good plan for the next time.

Great breakfast!! Huge with many options. Check in and out was seamless. Traveled with two small children they offered 2 baby cots for us and a baby potty. So helpful for us. Location is right around the corner from a tram AND metro station. This was very important to us since we travelled in February with a lot of snow. The property is very clean, unique as it has an old circus vibe to it.

Excellent value! Great location, train stop literally right outside. Very cool atmosphere and design. Comfortable bed, underfloor heating in bathroom, very spacious king room. All food was good and so much was included (breakfast and dinner). All employees were very friendly and helpful.

The location was great. The emails were a neat way to communicate my room and code. And the ability to accommodate earlier check ins was very helpful.
