this was one of the best hotel experiences in my life. we celebrated New Year there and it was just amazing. the hotel's design was stylish, and the fog made it really cool special shout out to the staff. they are truly amazing people. the kitchen was super delicious. we had breakfasts, lunch and dinner at the restaurant. everything was super tasty. the territory of the hotel is a unique experience. so ambient, so cosy, so calm. the room was comfy, even it was cold that night, we felt great. for those who's looking for a quite and peaceful place, for meditative and healing experiences - i sincerely recommend this place and we'll definitely come back here again!

Amazing location, magical sunrise Batur without the need of jeeps or long trekking. Outdoor bathtub with a view. Middle of nature and away from busy road in an farm field with oranges, banana avocado and more. Friendly staff/owner. Sign pondok Devana pretty small just look for Warung Mina and its next door :)

This is by far the best hotel i booked in my 12 days trip of bali. The view is the best, the facilities were top notch, the service was too good and the food very tasty. I will always remember this hotel and it's view. Recommend everyone to book it for the best experience to enjoy nature.

Breath-taking views from Kintamani Road down to Lake Batur...

Breath-taking views from Kintamani Road down to Lake Batur and the vulcanic caldera around the lake and Mount Agung in the back ground. Mahen Cafe has an outdoor sitting area from which you have an almost 180 degree view on all of this. Pura Ulun Danu Batur is well worth a visit. A big temple with lovely decorated features in a garden like setting. Costs to enter the area are off-putting. If have accomodation in Kintamani and a local driver you might get around them.

Accommodation is limited up on the volcano rim, and plentiful down in the crater, but in the crater, the flies will drive you mad. There are fish drying enterprises down there, and I think they attract fish. If possible, stay up top!!

Staying at Alam Nirwana was amazing! The view from the rooms is spectacular! It's an adventure taking the little jeep from the parking lot down the road to the hotel, it's something worth experiencing! We had a nice dinner when we were there, Nasi and Mie Goreng. Rama was a great host and very communicative. His brother was a great driver, we were picked up from the Canngu area and taken to Kintamani. They also organized for us to go up Mt. Batur and go to natural hot springs. Great experience!

Everything is great. The best value affordable large rooms hotel with bath tub in Kintamani. It has the best view of Sunrise in Mount Batur as well. Price includes breakfast and you can have breakfast above the clouds facing the mountain here. Great experience. The staffs are also very friendly. It’s just the shower floor has rocks on it so it’s a bit uneven to stand there and uncomfortable so I hope they would replace the design. However, everything else is great.

Like: booked this for the hotspring pool and because it is near Mt Batur if you plan to hike (which i did). I booked the trek tour with the hostel and it was a difficult one for someone who has not hiked since pandemic started (but I survived, thankfully 🫠). Dislike: going out of Kintamani is very expensive so even if the location is good, one needs to shell out a lot via private local drivers. A bit far from the restos.

This is the best possible stay in the Kintamani area (10 min from Mt Batur), and the best one we’ve been so far in Bali and other parts of Indonesia. The rooms are incredible, the views of the mountains and the lake are breathtaking, and the staff friendliness and hospitality is top notch. Everything is high quality and we regret not spending more time there to enjoy the pool bar and the massages they offer. Mt Batur sunrise from here is a must! Special shout out to Diana who was super welcoming and engaging in conversations!
