Beautiful place with real Ubud vibes. Room was big, clean and comfortable, WiFi was fast and stable and the pool and the garden is so nice. Staff was very kind and helpful too

It is a little oasis of calm with a great location near the best early morning walk through the rice fields. It has the most amazing bathroom I’ve ever been in. You feel like you are taking a shower in a nature with rocks and plants

The labyrinth of stairs is pretty cool, the property cascades down the side of the ravine. It’s near Campuhan ridge walk and isolated from the bustle of central Ubud

Everything! The pictures don’t do any justice to the property. The natural aspect and it overlooking the jungle was absolutely perfect. Don’t even get me started on the outdoor bath. The room itself is large, very clean and comfortable. It didn’t have any bugs or unwelcome creepy crawly or jumpy guests. I also liked the aromatic citronella repellent the staff lit after each cleaning of the room. The infinity pool and dining area are absolutely stunning AND to top it all off, the staff were all extremely polite, welcoming and friendly. They made my birthday so special! Truly unforgettable experience!

A true hidden gem. We booked at Mathis after a change of plans brought us to Ubud earlier that planned and it's probably the best decision we made about our trip. Firstly, the location is peaceful and easy enough to get to, a short scooter/taxi north of central Ubud town. It's located looking out onto rice fields and is beautifully designed with a decent swimming room and covered dining area. The bungalow we stayed in was immaculately clean, huge and with elegant interior decor. The food at the restaurant was great quality, cocktails reasonably priced and there's a brilliant selection of activities including a BBQ and acoustic music evening, feeding the ducks (who were an absolute charm to just observe in their duck house and pond) and more. We had a massage at the spa which was also good. And there's a yoga studio at the far end of the first rice field. The price was also very reasonable for the quality, but definitely one of the most stand-out factors was the lovely people hosting us. Every member of staff was so genuinely friendly, welcoming and kind. From the beginning, we just felt very well cared for. They recommended a local temple ceremony happening one night and told us what we needed to wear. We were almost the only westerners there observing a beautiful ceremony including music, dance and costumes which felt like the whole town attended. Magical. We will be recommending Mathis to everyone we talk to about our time in Bali and are very happy to recommend it more generally. Thanks to Bintang and all the staff for a truly memorable and beautiful experience.

can't say enough good things about Sunrise Villa Ubud. From the moment I arrived, everyone on the staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The service has been outstanding, and they always go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable and taken care of. The grounds are absolutely immaculate—beautifully maintained, peaceful, and relaxing. My room was cleaned thoroughly, and everything was kept in excellent condition throughout my stay. One of the highlights was breakfast each morning. The food was fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. And the view is worth the stay alone. Waking up each morning to the beautiful scenery surrounding the property was an experience in itself. The location is also fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, a large supermarket just minutes away, and everything I need is within easy reach. I originally planned to stay for a shorter visit, but I've enjoyed it so much that I've decided to extend my stay. That's probably the best recommendation I can give. If you're looking for a peaceful, well-maintained place with exceptional service in Ubud, I highly recommend Sunrise Villa Ubud.

Luxurious villa for the price ($125 USD/night). Grounds are like White Lotus, and they brought a yoga instructor in according to our schedule so it's a very bespoke experience. Breakfast is a multi-course affair. Room interior was very modern, with some Balinese touches. Staff very friendly. Away from the craziness of central Ubud, so makes it a good base to get Grab/taxis to other places. Restaurant Balinese Home Cooking and Putri Spa (best spa ever) are very close by.

If you’re thinking about booking this place do it! Rooms were immaculate, bedding was the comfiest in Bali in a month, food was amazing & the staff were so helpful! Wyaan was extremely friendly and happy to help with anything, a true hospitality superstar! Was unfortunate that other guests staying didn’t have a lot of respect for the staff here during my stay, gentle reminder to be kind to these lovely people even if there’s a little language barrier. 5 stars ⭐️

The pictures depicted on Booking.com is accurate. The property is immaculate and clean save for nature's elements that is part and parcel of having plants in the property. Even though I arrived around 10pm, the staff were there to greet me. Both the night and the day view looks amazing and the aesthetical bland of colours is pleasing to the eye. The restroom is comfy. The WIFI reach is good except in the bathtub area. The dining area is adequately equipped. Provision of a scissors would be handy though! Nearby, 10 to 15 mins walk, there is an expat supermarket which you can get provisions or order the provisions through Grab. I did both. Overall a good experience and I look forward to staying again in this property with family or friends should I be back to Bali again!

I had such a wonderful stay at My Om Wellness the location is absolutely beautiful peaceful and convenient, surrounded by nature, and the perfect place to relax, recharge, and reconnect with yourself. What made the experience even more special was the staff, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with a smile, their genuine warmth made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere of the entire property is calm and nurturing, making it an ideal place for anyone looking to unwind I left feeling refreshed, rested, and grateful for the experience.

The hotel is in an excellent location out of town directly so it’s quite but still easy to walk into town in 10mins. The staff were exceptional and caring, and the food was great.
