Room was clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of space to store luggage and clothing. Bed was very comfortable. Don't expect the Ritz Carlton. It is not that, but was quaint, comfortable and clean and in a historic building. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly. Would love to come back for a longer stay.

The house is a quick 3-minute walk to Cong and practically next to the famous Ashford Castle. 4 bedrooms with two full bathrooms were just fine for the family of 5. The laundry machine came in handy after the full day spent on Aran Island.

Attractive property in a beautiful location close to the village of Cong and near Ashford castle. Breakfast was amazing with home made scones and brown bread—certainly among the best in Ireland. The owner, Mary, was extremely kind and helpful.

Good location close to town (Cong), but located in lovely sheep farm country. Comfortable, clean, great breakfast, welcoming hostess (Joan and her daughter were very kind), affordable. Breakfast room was lovely. The quintessential Irish Bed and Breakfast experience. Cong is a fun way to spend a day (Ashford Castle, little walks available, the Abbey). Also just an hour or two to Connemara, the Burren, and there’s oodles of beautiful countryside around. I really enjoyed my visit to Knockma Woods, 30 mins away.

Location in Cong is fantastic for the Connemara and proximity to Ashford Castle, boat cruise on Lough Corrib, tour of Inchagoill Island, The Quiet Man film sites, and for travel onward on Ireland’s west coast. Great value!

Was our 2nd time here & it didn't disappoint. Rooms were comfortable & bathrooms were nice. I liked the night light option. Food was great & plenty of offerings along with being able to choose theday before what hot foods you wanted. Views there great & it was within walking distance of Ashford Castle grounds & trails. Situated in Cong with everything close. Riht next door to The Quiet Man museum & shop.

Beautiful lodge with comfortable, clean room. Plenty of space for four of us. Nice sitting area with fireplace downstairs. Good parking on property. Excellent breakfast with plenty of food, and a very friendly and helpful host! Well located for exploring Cong, doing activities at Ashford Castle, or taking day trips into Connemara. Would stay here again!

Parking was good around the hotel. Location excellent and so near the famous Ashford castle grounds which you can walk around. Cong is a lovely location to stay in. Kitchen facilities were good at the hostel. Had a very comfortable sleep.
