This stylish and historic place to stay is perfect for group trips or family or individuals. Built in 1890 by the Guinness Family, this house has been completely renovated and updated to modern yet classic standards. A 2 minute walk to the historic village of Cong and 5-10 minutes from Ashford Castle with amenities for the entire family from the memorable Falconry Walk to horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, Zip lining and ropes courses, kayaking, bike riding and so much more! Located at the base of The Gateway to Connemara, a fabulous day trip to tour and see the rugged scenery of the West of Ireland, along with much more. The house is approx a 2 minute walk from the historic village of Cong with lots of history and home to The Quiet Man, along with a nice selection of pubs and restaurants. Also within walking distance to Ashford Castle and The Lodge, where you can avail of many activities at Ashford Outdoors, or take a cruise on The Lough Corrib Cruise Line to Inchagoill Island. So much to see and do!!
