Lovely hotel with a sea view, close to a shopping center where you can get your daily essentials. Lots of small little eateries in the vicinity which the locals go to so be sure to make a reservation in advance. The staff were very helpful and genuinely happy to receive us, making us feel very welcomed.

Shinpuro was absolutely beautiful, and I would highly recommend it. The house was gorgeous and really felt like the perfect place to stay at Amanohashidate. Our hosts were extremely kind, and prepared the most beautiful food for us. We enjoyed chatting with them, and enjoying their lovely Ryokan.

This place is honestly breathtaking for a retreat at Amanohashidate. The owner was very welcoming and helpful during the check-in process, gave us recommendations and even offered to drive and book a restaurant for us; a testament to their quality service. Furthermore, the place was beautiful, lots of space, beautiful view across the ocean side, I only wish was that we could stay longer, it's honestly a great place to stay if you are planning to take a trip to Amanohashidate.

This hotel was self check-in and unmanned/no staff. It's a very large, likely newly renovated room (as of 2025), that is nicely decorated with a modern bathroom and amenities. Everything was clean and new. Room was larger than expected for the price (compared to the more dense cities). 10 min walk from the train station. Included free wifi. (We also had our own personal pocket wifi). We picked this place as a stop overnight for our Amanohashidate trip the next morning because it's close and convenient.

This is a traditional ryokan, right in the middle of Miyazu, next to the shrine. Our room looked out on the water and on Amanohashidate, to our delight. The semi-western beds were comfortable. The breakfasts and dinners, both kaiseki, were delicious. The bath and onsen were small but adequate. Most of the guests were Japanese. The staff were very helpful, though no one spoke much English. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here with 3 other friends because we wanted a private room instead of staying at a hostel, and it was the perfect amount of space for us. We enjoyed playing cards and lounging on the tatami "living" room area (It was two planks with tatami flooring that we could sit on). It was also super clean and when I had trouble with self check-in on the iPad the host was super quick to respond. It was also a little bit away from Amanohashidate, so a quieter area!!

I love this hotel! We stayed in a Japanese style room and it was amazing! My first time using the onsen and it was really good! The location is just across the amanohashidate station. One of the best hotel we have stayed in.

Good place to stay while visiting Amanohashidate. Just a short walk from the train station. The dinner and breakfast served were delicious traditional Japanese meals. The staff cooking and serving were extremely friendly and helpful, even though I was unfamiliar with some of the food that was being served. Room had a great view of the water and the onsen facilities were nice. Staying here felt like I was visiting a friend's grandparent's house (in the nicest possible way).
