Hotels near Ueno Toshogu Shrine, Tokyo

The hotel is crossing the street in front of Keisei Ueno station, I could arrive very fast and early to stay in the airport at the 6 am. I could rest my last night in Tokyo and be ready to my flight on time.

2min-walk from the Ueno station and about 5-7 min walk from the Skyline. Clean, cozy and quiet. Staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Really enjoyed my stay after quite an active holiday)

This is my second time stayed at the hotel. Recommended for solo travelers. Easy access to JR and Metro Line as well as Keisei Skyliner (to Narita). Basic amenities like shampoo/soap/towel provided but you can bring your own toiletries.

Locaton. Very near Ueno station which is very convienent. Highly recommended. The staff are very friendly too. The place is also near Ameyoko, and Ueno Park so these are good bonuses.

The location was very good, just a short walk from Ueno Station which made transportation extremely convenient. The hotel was very clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It was also very quiet at all times, which made it relaxing despite being in a busy area. The hotel is especially suitable for travelers with light luggage.

Helpful staff, spoke English, clean rooms, very simple experience was exactly what we needed.

Brand new, clean hotel, plenty of space and great location

Clean room, easy to follow instructions, disciplined guests and amenities. The staff were nice to me even though i didn’t speak Japanese. The laundry area and kitchen and common room were also amazing.

Good price and location. Basic accommodations, but it has everything you need. It is a love hotel.

Super friendly staff, easy check in, easy check out, the room is small it is correct, however it doesn't matter for us since we were enjoying outside a lot, enter the room only for resting. Facilities and amenities are quite complete compared to their price. Water kettle, hair drier, yukata, sleepers, etc, even small refrigerator are available in the room. While the microwave n washing machine are in the lobby area. Bathroom is small but very clean, modern, and perfect for me, especially the water pressure was incredible. Location is close to Iriya gate of Ueno station. Wifi was good no severe problem during accessing. Hotel provided luggage storage before n after check in/out in the same day, however we didn't use this service last week. My son was satisfied during our stay in this hotel, We stayed for 7 nights. It is an easy decision for us to stay here again when we visit Ueno area.

Location was solid not far from Ueno station. Check in and check out was super fast and the staff was friendly. It was only a one night stay but it was perfect.

Close proximity to the station, English-speaking staff, great value breakfast, free drinks. Had very comfortable stay, was assigned to a room facing the Ueno intersection but was very quiet. Area also in the quiet side of Ueno station. The open-air floor lobby is nice especially if you need to have a feel of how the outside temp would be like. I just hope they have more laundromat machines (but I think 2 units are pretty much in most hotels), a smoking room/area and they provide extra room key for the room power so you can come back to the room still air conditioned and phones still charging after you step out for a few minutes. Overall, had a great stay (even extended for a few more nights) and great value, will stay here again should my next Tokyo visit will be basing again in Ueno.

The room is clean and quiet. Spacious for a 3 person room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have 2 coin laundry machines which is convenient. The location is super convenient and close to JR, metro and the center of Ameyoko market. Awesome stay!
