Have been staying here through the years and love the charm and central location. This trip was the same but the property needs attention as it felt run down. The value is there as is the central location with its lovely balcony - it just needs some TLC. If you can handle grimy surfaces and a temperamental toilet you’ll be fine for a night.

The location was ideally located near the lake and a short walk to town. It was also set back far enough from the road to provide a peaceful stay. The room was comfortable, plenty of hot water for the shower, and an electric kettle to make coffee and tea. We would definitely stay again.

Killer views of Kandy Lake from the room and rooftop restaurant; very clean, spacious, comfortable room; wonderful and welcoming staff; delicious breakfast; great location a 2 minute walk to Kandy Lake and pleasant 15 minute walk to city center; very quiet area. 10/10 would recommend staying here, one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka! Great value for money.

Near the lake at best location

The pool was beautiful, was great to jump in after a day in the city. The security man out the front was the best! He always made sure our tuk tuks were safe. Very good location

We are warmly welcomed by the hotel since the first step we get off the car, me and my family are all very happy with the very much friendly staff, the buffet in the restaurant is also nice with live music, bring the holiday to a happy atmosphere. Mr. Lakmal has helped us a lot, a big thank you to him. Definitely recommend to come with family or friends and you will enjoy.

Absolutely amazing hotel in Kandy and one of the best in Sri Lanka! Great service, very friendly and helpful staff! One of the Managers is incredibly good at his job and welcomed me the best possible way! Staff are very nice and kind! The view is great, it's the best location in Kandy! Rooms are unique, the place has Sri Lankan soul! Breakfast was nicely served! Tea kettle in the room, water, toiletries and an antimosquito repellent, air con and hot water! I booked for one night, but stayed longer as I liked it. Thanks guys, you have made my stay in Kandy (and whole trip to Sri Lanka) very special!

The hotel is lovely and staff are nice . Rooms are comfortable and there are tuck tucks outside hotel to bring you anywhere. Good location and the sky lounge is fab as well
