We stumbled upon the Starry Boutique by chance, and we literally found a villa immersed in vegetation atop the hills around Kandy. The rooms are spacious and clean, with huge windows that offer a breathtaking view. There is also a kitchen and a living room available. The two people who welcomed us were extremely kind and made us feel at home. Additionally, the villa is only 20-30 minutes away from the center of Kandy, despite being in a panoramic location. I highly recommend this place.

The hotel is lovely and staff are nice . Rooms are comfortable and there are tuck tucks outside hotel to bring you anywhere. Good location and the sky lounge is fab as well

The room had an amazing view of the green hills and lakeside. It was peaceful and quiet with a beatiful balcony The rooftop cafe was also an amzing place to relax.

I got delicious breakfast rich with srilankan village foods...Staff and the owners of the hotel are very supportive, kind and dear..The place is wonderful.Its located in 5 minitues away from Dalada Maligawa,Lake side and a lot of famous places.The hotel is located in a top of the Kandy city with calm and eye catching environment .Food and accomodation have for reasonable price.

I had wonderful stay at hotel viyana, the hotel offer a beautiful view ,very clean room and a peaceful atmosphere.The staff were extremly kind,friendly and always ready to help which made my stay even more special.Everything was well maintained and the service was excellent.Highly recommend.

Amazing! Best place to stay in Kandy, very close to the city but still up out of the way enough. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Our room was lovely didn’t pay for the view but it was still gorgeous, very big and spacious with a separate shower area (rare for Sri Lanka they’re all wet rooms) !!

Near the lake at best location

there are many monkeys running around. very cute. also the rooms are nice and with a spacious balkony.

Everything was fantastic! Amazing Host, gave us great advice of exploring around, did our laundry, prepared some welcome tea. Breakfast was fabulous - local Sri Lankan. Cozy room with balcony. All of that for a great price. Wonderful!

Killer views of Kandy Lake from the room and rooftop restaurant; very clean, spacious, comfortable room; wonderful and welcoming staff; delicious breakfast; great location a 2 minute walk to Kandy Lake and pleasant 15 minute walk to city center; very quiet area. 10/10 would recommend staying here, one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka! Great value for money.

We heard about Helga’s from a previous guest and were enthralled with the art work as well as the story of the property. It is a whimsical world at Helga’s - I wish I could hear the walls talk with all of the stories that have taken place there. The food was impeccable and a great place to rest for a few nights. We were also greeted with a special treat of tea with Helga.
