Hotels near Sigiriya Rock, Sigiriya

The service was very nice and polite, and the breakfast was also good. At the street it is not clear sign. It is a little bit difficult to find. The rooms were appropriate for the price. The property itself was very beautifully designed. Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy at night due to the not entirely secure tin roof. However, the safari to the elephants was excellent. The guide was very friendly and showed us a lot.

I did a heap of research re where to stay in Sigiriya. I wanted somewhere with a nice environment, a pool and close to the village. EKHO ticked all my boxes and more. I loved the colonial heritage of the building, the room sizes were very generous and nicely designed, the pool was clean and shaded (yay for my pale skin), and the food was excellent. As like everywhere in Sri Lanka the staff were super delighful - always helpful and engaging. I was really pleased with this choice and would absolutely recommend it.

From the beginning, the location was exceptional. Where the hotel was located was very nice. The view of the hotel facing the rock was stunning, pool view from the bar was exceptional. The buffet was great. The dinner was a bit over priced, however the service was great. The location was perfect for us to go for an early morning hike to the the Lion Rock. The breakfast buffet was great, very authentic. Highly recommend.

New hotel, clean and comfortable. No mosquito net on one bed but had none inside that we noted. Delicious, timely breakfast each day. Lovely staff who provided lots of helpful advice. Excellent air con and comfy beds. Easy wander down to the main road for food/cash/water.

First, i'd like to commend the host family for being kind and helpful. They were always answering questions and helping me with anything I needed. They served good food for breakfast ♥️ i really liked the fact that they always serve fruits. I appreciate that. Their restaurant was great too. I had fish curry for dinner and i enjoyed that 100%! They even offered and gave me more veggies and fish. No one has ever done that before! 😅 they cook really good food 🤗 It is in a good location. Walking distance to several restaurants. Around 1-2KM walk from the entrance of lion's rock and about 3.5KM to pidurangala rock. It was lovely to walk around the area. The price was a steal and a bonus of breakfast in the morning. You can't expect an AC for the price. It was very affordable compared to the other hostels around. If you need an AC, then go somewhere else but if you want a local feels then Horizon is perfect! It feels like home because of how the hostel looks. It's more like a homestay to me. It is peaceful (so you get your peace of mind if you need it 😅). I'd definitely stay there again. I am thankful for everything. 💗💗💗 Lastly, i forgot my white shirt and i tried contacting them again and asked for a big favor of asking any guests coming to Kandy to bring my shirt. So thankful to them that i got my shirt back. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

The location was really close to the sigiriya rock. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Nisha was exactly as described in all the other reviews! The sweetest and kindest woman! She helped me with everything and she constantly checked in to see if i needed anything. The food on site is absolutely delicious! The room was perfect with amazing AC and the shower was really good! It is located right by all the restaurants and there is a little supermarket about 3 minutes walk away so you have everything!

I had a wonderful stay at Pride Rock in Sigiriya. The hospitality was outstanding – the hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The accommodation itself is beautifully set in nature, making it peaceful and relaxing, yet still comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal felt freshly and thoughtfully prepared. All my needs were met during my stay, and I truly felt cared for. I would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya, and I’d definitely go back again if I could

Clean and comfortable private bungalow with refreshing private plunge pool. Comfy beds with mosquito nets and sufficient shower pressure. Super nice and helpful host, nice breakfast served to your terrace. Close to Lion Rock, we did sunrise climb and it was superb to have plunge in the pool and breakfast ready after the excursion 😊

Extremely friendly hosts, Shashanki and her family are super caring. Always asking if I need something. Breakfast and dinner was amazing! The room has a mosquito net and a fan. It's rather simple but clean. There is an outside sitting area which you can use. Can recommend staying here, I actually extended my stay and also would come back.

The property is beautiful and in a very unique setting. The rooms are so spacious and have beautiful views. The staff at the hotel are absolutely incredible - so thoughtful and kind, helpful in so many ways. They made our stay extra special and made us feel cared for and welcome. Dhananjaya was so friendly and attentive and made sure that we had delicious breakfast each morning.

Central location walkable to shops, restaurants, and the main attractions. Breakfast was excellent. Danusha, the manager, was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. He provided great local recommendations and assisted me with booking transportation as well as a jeep elephant safari tour, which I highly recommend. He truly went above and beyond, even driving me to the ATM in his own vehicle one evening when I didn’t feel comfortable walking alone.

Loved that it was really set in nature, felt so serene and wild. The host was so nice, she really made us feel taken care of and very welcome. Would 100% stay here again and will definitely recommend to other travellers!

Great location in Sigiriya and the perfect place from which to explore. The room was clean and spacious, and perfect for being in nature. You'll hear monkeys running across the roof at night and swinging through the trees in the distance. The restaurant is also one of the best in the village. Thanks to Shaly and family for a wonderful stay!

We loved loved loved il Frangipane! Very authentic and super comfortable setup! Everything done with great taste, rooms are super big, beds comfortable, great shower!
