Traditional Spanish decor. Comfortable bed. Great location. Very QUIET side street at night. No Discos near by!!!! 1 block from ADO bus. We arrived at10 pm with a late flight from US. Took ADO for $12.each. Staff was there and able to check us in. Great security with staff manning gated entrance all night.

Second time we stay here. Close to quinta avenida and bus station - easy to get to from Cancun airport. Calm and quiet, nice little swimming pool, close to everything. Hope we get to come back and stay longer soon

You know, it didn't have a pool, or a breakfast bar, but the room was spacious, had a balcony, a whole minifridge to fill up with my own stuff, a TV (not that I used it), an ensuite bathroom, an awesome (a godsend) air conditioning unit, and the room was turned down every day.

ADO is the best way to and from the airport to Playa Del...

ADO is the best way to and from the airport to Playa Del Carmen and Tulum. Air conditioned, comfortable ride right into the heart of PDC at a price much more reasonable than a taxi. Reminder this is a point to point service, no stops in-between.

Busy bus depot, in busy part of town (it is right in the main tourist area, and close to the ferry terminal to Cozumel). Staff helpful, even with our basic Spanish. But be aware that there are TWO ADO bus stations in Playa del Carmen, so be sure you know which one you need (especially important for outgoing bus trips).

When purchasing a bus ticket from airport, know that there...

When purchasing a bus ticket from airport, know that there are 2 bus stations for Playa del Carmen. If you are staying on the north side of the city, ask for a ticket to the station at 20 Avenida Norte and 12 Calle Norte. The other one is the main one by the Maritime Terminal more in the center of town on the main strip.

It's like any other bus station except:

It's like any other bus station except: 1. you have to pay 6 pesos to use the bathroom (exact change) 2. There are intimidating armed guards walking around with vicious looking German Shepards who are sniffing for drugs.
