Go hungry- lots of food venders. A lot of the items for sale aren’t very unique - every 10th stall has the same stuff, for the most part. Things are cheap though and the people you’re buying the gifts for don’t have to know.

After visiting several different markets during our trip, we found the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar to be the absolute best. It stands out because of the variety and quality of the items available, especially if you are looking for something special to take home. The bazaar features some of the most unique finds we saw, including many beautiful man-made gifts and handmade trinkets that felt much more authentic than the mass-produced souvenirs found elsewhere. It was the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind items that truly represent the local craftsmanship.

Worth a visit though be warned it is huge and rather hectic, you may get market stall blindness! They sell clothing, bags, pashminas, all kind of gift items, you can even have a portrait done by several artists who you can see busy at work. Prices are good but you may need to check the quality. At the back of the market you will find the 'ladyboys show' which is well worth it! Sorry for my mistake - this review is about the ANUSAN MARKET not the Night Bazaar
