Large and very comfortable rooms! Super comfy beds. It was so nice to have a fireplace in the room; even though it wasn't wood burning, it was still very cozy. Great location and EXCELLENT staff!!

Fantastic location, modern style especially compared to the old and tired standards near the Plaza. We also like the ease of getting in and out of the unit without the need for a front desk person.

Santa Fe is known as the City Different, and New Mexico is...

Santa Fe is known as the City Different, and New Mexico is called the Land of Enchantment. I lived there for 20 years and enjoyed every minute. The Plaza is the center of just about everything touristy, but also for the locals as well. Food ranging from Frito Pie at he Five and Dime (part the old Woolworth's store) to local fare at the Plaza Restaurant (they make a bizarre range of foods, from spaghetti to meatloaf to one of the best posoles I have even eaten), and you never know who might be in there -- anyone from movie people to the governor. The La Fonda Hotel is worth it just to walk through, but their restaurant is top quality and yet not over priced. Events take place on the plaza proper throughout the year. Except when there are major street events (like Indian Market or Soanish Market), there are vendors along the outside of the Palace of the Governors on the north side of the plaza. These spots are highly prized locations for the artists there. Although very much oriented towards the tourist trade, all of the individuals are local and their works is authentic. They come from the pueblos and the Navajo Nation. I could go on much longer, but as a starting place to discover Santa Fe, the Plaza is IT!!

We loved the history and the architecture of Santa Fe.

We loved the history and the architecture of Santa Fe. You need a day to tour the historical old town area. If you are a shopper, you will need more time. We did not visit any of the museums, so you would need much more time if you wanted to add those to your itinerary.

The Cathedral and San Miguel Chapel are a must.

The Cathedral and San Miguel Chapel are a must. The interior of the Cathedral is a fine example of Spanish Mission style with native decorative color patterns and art. The adobe buildings of the Plaza give a wonderful Southwest old-town feel. The art shops are numerous. One cannot leave without purchasing a personal item made from local turquoise. The Loreto Chapel and the magnificent spiral staircase is worth the time.

Two "MUSTS" for Santa Fe PLAZA, both there for many years: 1. Go to the "Five & Dime" for terrific variety of gifts, snacks, T-shirts, drugstore stuff, hotdogs, etc. at very reasonable prices. 2. Go to THE PLAZA Restaruant for a good meal alongside all the "Regulars." Probably a lot of artists go there.

Perfect location just two blocks from the plaza. Hotel itself is lovely with a homey yet elegant vibe. Staff were friendly and informative. Room was large and comfortable with a beautiful super-sized bathroom. Appreciated the refreshments area with mini fridge and Keurig for coffee and tea, and the private bistro set outside the room (3rd floor) to enjoy the view.

Beautiful property with very friendly staff and excellent hospitality all around. We were astonished at how large our kitchenette unit was! It was more like an apartment with a full kitchen and large private patio. Beautiful furnishings and plenty of space, as well as walkable to both the Plaza and the Railyard

Besides being the only Native America owned property in Santa Fe, by the Picuris Pueblo, which is a landmark on how the hotel maintains this important milestone, the hotel itself is excellent: very comfortable bed and shower, quiet room with nice views. The location is also great, allowing access to very good restaurant options around the property and a 10 minute walk to downtown Santa Fe to the Plaza. If you don't want to walk, they offer a free shuttle to the downtown area too.

Guadalupe Inn is a charming hotel located in a quiet section of Santa Fe, not far from the plaza. The staff, especially LeAnn, are super friendly and helpful. Many of the rooms have patios, hardwood floors, and some even have fireplaces, and our good sized. The breakfast is buffet style with quite a few things, including breakfast burritos, to choose from.
