Lodges in Jacó

The lodge is a beautiful, unique design which enhances the experience of the gorgeous natural surroundings. It is a tropical paradise with opportunities to explore and learn. The staff are wonderful. The rooms are simple but elegant. The food was excellent.

We stayed in Congo 2, which seemed to be brand new: it was really comfortable and spotlessly clean, with excellent kitchen facilities and a great bathroom. The views of the jungle are lovely and we saw lots of birds, particularly scarlet macaws - a large group were in the tree right next to the room. We had access to a pool a few metres away, with a jacuzzi pool, as well as the large main pool at reception. The local town has several supermarkets, so we were able to buy food to eat in while looking out at the jungle views. Breakfast was excellent: fruit and juice, followed by a choice of typical Costa Rican gallo pinto or eggs with toast, all served with unlimited coffee. We only stayed one night as we were breaking up a longer journey, but it was a great choice for a relaxing stopover.

Thank you to the owner for the great attention. we travel as a family for one night to scape from the city , this place is ok , do not expect luxury . near to a lagoon , so you will have always frogs and other animals around. Bring some earplugs for better comfort , the noise of the frogs could be very noisy and loud. We travel with 2 dogs , they were welcome , thanks for that.
