The dining experience at Rajaklana was another delight. The on-site restaurant offered a delectable selection of traditional Indonesian cuisine and international dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. This unique hotel exceeded our expectations! What really stood out is the staff: they were so professional, kind and welcoming, gave us recommendations and made sure we had everything during our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with artwork all over and many other details decorating the space, especially the garden and pool area. The breakfast was delicious, we tried different options and everything was fresh. Would definitely repeat the experience if we get the chance to visit Yogyakarta again :)

Staying at Astuti Gallery Homestay felt like having a second home. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and makes you feel comfortable right away. The host is incredibly attentive and always checks in to make sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. The staff are also friendly and genuinely care about making your stay enjoyable. A special mention goes to Max and Rocky, the two adorable resident dogs. They may bark occasionally when someone arrives, but most of the time they're just lounging around or taking naps. I also loved the lush, shady garden and the inviting swimming pool. It's the perfect place to relax, read a book, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location is ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay without being too far from the city center. A wonderful place to unwind, recharge, and feel at home. I'd definitely love to come back!

Shangri-La Surabaya is still the gracious Queen of 5 star hotels in Surabaya, with impeccable service from qualified and well-trained staff, excellent facilities - a really nice, large resort pool with kids' pools and water slide not interfering with the main pool, a good spa/gym area with free and bookable table tennis - comfortable rooms with large windows, expansive views and very comfortable beds providing firm support with a soft topper. Wood fired pizza oven in the Italian restaurant meant yummy fare there too.
