The staff were one of the best things at the Mespil. From the moment we checked in, to the breakfast staff, housekeeping staff even staff walking past all extremely professional and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional huge choice and very high quality even had freshly squeezed orange juice. The room was spotless and had every amentiy. Nice touch to be able to open a window. The location was excellent. 10/10.

This property is nestled perfectly along the charming canal, adjacent to the myriad of facilities within Ballsbridge. The staff were extremely accommodating, and the room was fresh, classy, and very spacious. The room was well equipped with luxury facilities, and the bed was very comfortable.

Everything! Staff were superb! Room was luxurious. We didn’t get the opportunity to explore the grounds or visit the leisure centre this trip. So we will return for sure! Oh the breakfast was delicious!

We absolutely loved this hotel. Everything was first rate. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Huge bed and beautiful bed linens and the MOST comfortable mattress and pillows. Like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was fantastic and catered for us Vegans ❤️ all table service and wonderfully tasty. This hotel is better than some 5 star places we have stayed. Luxurious ambience throughout. Special attention to furnishings and service. Ambient lighting. It was perfect! Can’t wait to return. Amazing!

We had a very pleasant stay. Bryan was a great host and the lodge was perfect. It had everything you need, was very comfortable and the addition of the breakfasts was a very nice touch. The gardens made for a nice walk and overall the grounds were gorgeous. Highly recommend for a short break and the area is handy for a short drive into Kilkenny city. 5 Stars!

Like the room a lot, also the ambience of the Hotel was superb. Liked the food and the facilities. They have covered parking which is amazing and then you dont have to worry about your vehicle. The retro look and some classy furniture is adding to the overall presentation. Oh cant forget the live music

Simply outstanding. Really beautiful decor throughout. Lovely comfortable bed in a quite large room. Superb food in the restaurant and the staff went out of their way to make sure my wife’s special dietary needs were taken care of. The staff were all delightful and really made our stay memorable.
