The breakfast and dinner are Michelin equivalent. The service is super. I want to come back just for the food and service. The experience felt truly authentically local. Do take the stair hike to the top beyond the temple.

Great location, close to the top of the famous stone steps. The Japanese-style room fit three adults cozily including comfy chairs to look out at the mountain view. Breakfast buffet had lots of choices. Staff was very organized and kind.

What wasnt to like everything exceeded expectations, Breakfast & dinner buffet was great especially the unlimited drinks during, room was perfect and the private Onsen was a nice treat.
