Lovely people. Lovely breakfast. Enjoyed a swim in the pool, a swing in the hammocks, and our first cup of tea in a few days! Oh, and very clean room. Highly recommend!

The air-conditioned accommodation is 30 miles from Altun Ha, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free Wifi.

Lisa was extremely helpful & attentive. For a birder who came to see birds in the lagoon area, it was ideal: I loved that it was right near the lagoon & Bird's Eye View Lodge. The kitchen was perfect for cooking simple meals (I made rice & beans with chicken). The Wi-Fi was reliable & reasonably fast (I'm writing this from a hotel on Caye Caulker where the Wi-Fi is extremely spotty & slow, making me wish for Lisa's Wi-Fi again).

Superb location for birding with cabins overlooking the lagoon. You can sit on your porch and the birds will come to you. Angie goes above and beyond to be a wonderful host. Crooked tree wildlife sanctuary is down a 5 mile road off the highway so recommend getting a ride to the lodge. Recommend stopping by a grocery store and fruit/veggie stand for food and drinks. It’s best to get cash to pay for your stay and any excursions like Lamanai or Altun Ha.
