We were blessed that this property was available to us when our flights had been cancelled due to Tropical Storm Sara.

It was absolutely beautiful here. So peaceful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were also great with our children. The food was beautiful. The hand made ice cream is a must!

Ricky was incredibly welcoming and kind. He made us feel very much at home. He helped us book a guided tour and made sure we always knew how to get to where we wanted to go.

The property had eveything, its close to stores, vegetable shop and restaurant.

Beautiful property with lots of wildlife. The resort restaurant was excellent for dinner with live music. The live music ended at 10:30 so it didn't distract from our sleep.

Proximity to the river, ability to watch wildlife close to the cabin, friendliness of owners, chance to explore Mayan ruins. Philip, who acts as the fishing guide, provided a varied experience that included bushwhacking to a beautiful secluded lake. Day usually began and ended with a home-cooked meal right by the river bank. There is a spring fed swimming pool we didn't take advantage of if the ideas of swimming with the crocodiles in the river doesn't appeal.
