Quiet and just off the highway. Perfect stop for a long roadtrip. Very clean, comfy beds definitely recommend for an overnight stay.

Friendly service, comfy overnight stay for good value right off the Autobahn after driving across the country. Made easy reservation through Booking.com App the day before traveling with a reserved toddler bed that was already set up in the room with mattress, blanket, and pillow, on arrival. There's a water kettle for hot tea and instant coffee. Nothing fancy, just simple, clean, and quiet with plenty of parking.

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Small details like fruit and sweets at the reservation desk adds to the experience. The room was nice.

The location is perfect. And the breakfast is perfect with the location.

Perfect hotel for staying near the center of Halle, on arrival you receive a ticket for free travel within the halle zone. Although i didnt have breakfast, i was allowed as many free coffees etc as i wanted. The staff were very friendly and the room was lovely and quiet. will continue to use this hotel in the future

Really cool room in an old building, giving it great atmosphere. Easy access to the city centre and public transport.

Excellent location, nice airy room, very helpful hosts

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment. There was plenty of space and the rooms were very nice. There was a little trouble with the code when we got there and the hosts were incredibly responsive to help us resolve it. Turns out it wasn't the code, the door is a little tricky - you have to pull then push to open once the code is entered. Also, we got there during a heat wave and the apartment isn't air conditioned - this is a European thing - but after a quick message to the hosts, they brought us a fan to help cool down the rooms. The kitchen was great. We had everything we needed to prepare all our meals there and save money from eating out every day. The markets are a short walk from the apartment and there are also tram stops right outside.

Although this is a provincial spot, Ankerhof gives all the value you would expect. It has the right location, a good product and direct connection to public transport. Rooms are well done with river view and the team has all passion to run it. Recommendable the restaurant connected.

When we arrived we were met with a smile and made to feel very welcome there. The hosts are clearly passionate about making their guests feel at home. The entrance isn't glamorous by any means but the apartments are new and clean. The apartment complex itself is shared with locals and Grace occupy one level with only a small number of apartments. We stayed for two nights and booked multiple rooms for 5 of us so we were able to look at three of the rooms. All of them were tidy, spacious and had different themes to the decor matching their style. The rooms have large windows which lets in a nice natural light. The showers are smaller but no different to most accommodation in Europe. The room was equipped with a washing machine and iron. The apartments are located up stairs so you will have to carry suitcases up. The host was kind enough to help us carry them upstairs which we are grateful for. There is a cafe downstairs that does amazing breakfast, coffee and smoothies, definitely the best in town. We definitely suggest trying it during your stay. The walk from the train station is uphill so we would recommend getting a taxi rather than walking if you have baggage. The location is walkable to the main sq uare and close to the metro line. It felt very safe in the area at night time and there are plenty of nice cafes and bars within walking distance. We would definitely stay again.
