The apartment is decorated in a very charming vintage style, with great attention to detail and high-quality finishes – it truly feels like a fairy-tale place. The host welcomed us in person, was extremely kind, and recommended excellent local restaurants.
We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and everything needed for breakfast. Antequera is a small and lovely town with very friendly people, and we would return here anytime.

United StatesRosa is an excellent hostess. She's very easy going and happy to help in any way. The apartment is cute and comfortable and in a quiet building. There's a coffee machine in the room (which I didn't use) and full access to the kitchen. Wifi worked well, as did the air conditioner in my room. However, because you can cover the window with electric blinds during the heat of the day to keep the room cool, I only used the a/c for a few minutes even on a very hot day.
The bathroom is immaculate and the powerful shower system felt wonderful after long hot days of hiking.
I chose to park on the street across from her building and was always able to find a parking spot. I chose her location based on the ease of getting to the places I was interested in such as hiking El Torcal, visiting Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas, hiking the Caminito del Rey and touring La Alhambra. All of these towns or activities were super easy to access from her place.
It's a nice, friendly, clean and active neighborhood. People are out walking their dogs or teams are playing football (soccer) at the soccer grounds that you can see from the bedroom. A good supermarket is literally a one minute walk away. There are quite a few restaurants close by, too.
Access to the old city and its attractions is about 8-10 minutes by car, 25-30 minutes by foot.
I highly recommend Rosa and her apartment as a home base if you are staying in Antequera.

The room was spotless, as was the hotel generally. The staff were friendly and professional. Pablo in the pool bar / cafeteria was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel and the views were lovely. Always nice to have free parking. Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

The hotel was lovely, the room was enormous and the whirlpool bath was a completely unexpected bonus. Located on the outskirts it was still only a 10-15 min walk into the centre of town. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights and would've happily stayed longer. My first visit to Spain and although I do not speak Spanish, the staff we very accommodating and politely spoke English whenever they could. Free car parking was provided adjacent to the hotel and there was also on street parking available

Great location. Free parking nearby after we dropped bags off at the door. Lovely bright room with a fabulous view to the square and mountains. Fab shower. Antequera is amazing!!

location is perfect - in the town centre overlooking a quiet square; the hotel felt newly refurbished and the room was excellent with a nice spacious bathroom, easy to find a free parking space in the parking lot 3 mins walk away

Apartment is located in a centre, with free parking nearby.
100% clean.
2 separate bedrooms, ideal for 4 people.
Kitchen is equipped with pans, pots etc, no salt/sugar/oil (no problem, but it’s good to know).
Dishwasher and washing machine available.
Host is responsive and helping.
