Everything was fine from arrived to depart good check in breakfast very good room fantastic good supply of hot drinks and of course the igh welcome bag that we call the Goodies bag which she loves and looks forward to and of course igh points depending on spending

The property was absolutely amazing. The stay was really wonderful and the staff was very lovely. Would recommend to anyone, hands down!

Great find. Stayed couple nights and had a great stay. Check in was smooth and easy as the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was really nice and clean and beds were comfortable. During the week they do a burger or pizza and a pint for £9.95 and it was very good. Had a brilliant stay and would definitely stay again.

The room was fabulous and spacious x the staff that were on over Christmas were very friendly and made a brilliant Christmas experience x

My room was a dorm which was very comfortable. It was nice to enjoy the outside benches as well.

It was very clean very tidy everything was on point. It is a small in size the hotel I mean, but the facilities are amazing for the price we paid. It is considered more than amazing and what matters to me is that the bathroom was clean, not outdated or rustic

The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble. Ample parking. Bed is super comfy. Food and breakfast was excellent. Definitely will be back

I really liked the fact that the cleaned out the trash everyday and kept the room clean.

Service was excellent, both as an overnight guest and as a member of a large dinner party. Food was also excellent, all our party agreed. I had pork belly, duck and creme brulee... The room was very nicely decorated, warm and clean. The ensuite shower room was warm, big towels and enough of the usual supplies. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fruit teas, biscuits, milk in the cutest bottles, couldn't have done more. Breakfast was good, the service excellent and the choice unlimited. I would highly recommend The Courthouse for dinner or overnight stay.

A beautiful and spacious home in a fantastic central location in Colchester. We had a wonderful family Christmas in this house. The host was very responsive to our few requests and we would definitely go back.

Secure parking, Warm welcome, beautiful clean room, very quiet, hotel overall well appointed. Lovely breakfast with staff prepared to go over and above.
