The place was very easy to find,just past "Spar" if your coming from the ferry-side. My key was sitting there waiting for me on my arrival which i thought was a very practical and efficient way of doing things. I found my room to be better than expected and everything worked and was very cozy and CLEAN. The manager called up to confirm my breakfast time and she seemed very warm and welcoming. I was lucky to be able to engage with this lady again who i found out was from Hong Kong. while having breakfast the next morning and she was very helpful and so nice i almost didn't want to leave. You will be in good hands if you stay at the Caledonia,you'l have a really nice,informative,helpful Hong Kong host,a comfortable and reasonably priced stay in a really good location. Great location, great breakfast, great place to visit

Went there to visit classic car event. The accommodation was in a good location and I could not fault anything. All I needed was there with friendly service and a good breakfast. Since breakfast begins at 7.30. I still got it before the morning flight back. I stayed in Room 2 at ' The Island ' and slept like a log. Unlike most places here this was only about fifty pounds per night. Why pay more? From Roger in Cumbria

The breakfast selections are excellent. We dined in for dinner a few times, excellent as well. Pete, Marianne, Lucas are as accommodating as possible. The best lodging in Douglas for sure.

Place was very spacious, had every facility we needed and it was very close to the town center so it wasn't far to travel anywhere at all. Host was very quick at responding and the instructions for check in/check out were very clear. For the price, the value is amazing!

A beautiful,spacious and comfortable lodge in an amazing position overlooking Douglas Bay. Watching the ferries coming in and out of port was fantastic as we were so close. David and Elaine had thought of everything to make our stay so enjoyable. The place was spotless and very well equipped. True to say that it is a bit of a climb to get to the lodge but more of a slope than a hill and there are steps you can use. All in all a great place to stay and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. We didn't want to leave.

Cindy was wonderful and welcoming. The little kitchen and small breakfast items were perfect. It was nice having a table and chairs in the room too. The small garden was also a great little place to sit outside. Great location close to everything you need.
