Absolutely loved our stay at the club villas. The staff were so attentive and kind! They arranged an incredible snorkeling day for us (the beach at the villas isn’t great but the snorkeling beaches nearby were amazing). They also upgraded us to a beautifully decorated beach front villa for our honeymoon, which was so incredibly sweet. We loved our stay so much and spent our mornings sipping coffee on the porch watching the local fishermen head in and our evenings watching the sunset from our private pool. Additionally, the meals were freshly made and delicious! This is the kind of place you go to unplug and unwind. Staff were just exceptional! 10/10 would stay here again. An incredibly value.

We arrived late in the evening and immediately we were welcomed warmly by the owners and they even asked us directly if we would like to have some dinner. We can really recommend the food there - breakfast as well as dinner and especially the watermelon juice! The bungalows were very cute! The owner are very nice and even help you to organize snorkeling tours and pick up services!

The place was great! One of our favorites :) the bed was super comfy, ac worked well, the room spacious. The food was super tasty. The pool was a great plus. They also have scooter rentals for a good price. Additionally, the staff were super friendly! They really made us feel at home. They also organized a trip for a us and a few other people- we went snorkeling at a few islands and then had a bbq on a little island. So fun!

The staff was very, very kind very knowledgeable great breakfast. I came in late and it was no problem at all. Everything was as stated the owner of the place and other guest were very friendly. They have a on site boat company for snorkeling. The Capt.‘s name was Imi very great English Very knowledgeable and very kind.

New, clean, comfortable, good service, exceeded expectations

I liked our bungalow, the cafe/hangout area, the cabanas on the beach, access to the gilli islands, the staff.

These villas are amazing. Spacious, beautiful, great beds and an absolutely magical view from the second story. I'd wake up every morning in awe! The general region of Sekotong is a wonderful and charming place with genuinely kind and curious locals, beautiful islands, deserted beaches, and many great restaurants. Norman and his family are incredibly kind and generous and willing to help out with anything and everything. They made my stay feel so comfortable, easy and safe. There is good snorkeling all of over but if you want the absolute best, Norman is the person to take you. I saw gorgeous healthy corals and many creatures I'd never seen before. If you're looking for a dreamy villa in a really beautiful and less touristy area of Lombok, this is the place. Hope I get to come back someday!

The crew was very helpful and did everything to make you comfortable. Because there were no 'fancy' restaurants near by, the food needed to be ordered and was delivered at the property.

The local food there is great, and for fair prices. Owner and staff are really friendly and one feels like at home at a very nice place. We got free water refill and wifi. A short walk to the north up the mountain and through the little forest you can have a very nice viewpoint for sunsets. The seclusion of the place makes it very relaxing and quiet.

After a short boat ride you pull up directly to the property, which has a beautiful view of Lombok from across the ocean. You can immediately get into your bungalow and settle in, escaping the sun if need be. The natural air flow and shade keeps the temperature down inside during the day, which is quite pleasant to sit and read in. There are ample options for sitting inside or out. I had come to do snorkeling, but unfortunately woke up with sinus issues the morning I traveled over. Due to this I was unable to get snorkeling in during my stay, but I was grateful for the comfortable accommodations in which I could try to recover more quickly. You will have mosquito netting for the bed, and it is advisable that you use it as some will visit during the nights. Also be advised that while you won't have a bidet (at least during the timeframe of my visit), you will still have bathroom access to a water spout and the means with which to remain clean. You'll be fine :) If staying around the property you will often see the lovely owners and their beautiful family enjoying the days. You can find friendly conversation with them, advice for enjoying Gili Gede's offerings, as well as some food or drink options if need be. Their son and I enjoyed some tasty pineapple smoothies in the shade of the ocean front tables, while flowers dropped from the trees above and butterflies fluttered around us. It was nice to have access to the icy treat, packed with vitamin C to help the immune system. Gili Gede is a slower paced, quiet, rural setting away from the party scene you might find among the northern Gilis. There is snorkeling and diving without the crowds, fishing trips, shell collecting when the tide is out, and other ocean activities to partake in which the owners can help you organize.
