Our name, Starsand Beach, is inspired by the distinctive star-shaped sands you can find on the beach right in front of the villa. From every room in the accommodation, you have a beautiful view of the sea. On clear days, you can even see as far as Mount Agung in Bali. Enjoy your breakfast or dinner on your terrace beside the pool, amidst colorful sunsets and sweeping views of the three Gili Islands and beyond.
Your hosts, the couple Eddy and Bettina, currently live in Germany. Eddy is from Lombok, and Bettina is from Germany. "We love southern Lombok—with its pristine beaches, its beautiful and biodiverse waters, and the opportunity to discover landscapes that remain untouched."
Three small islands—Gili Nanggu, Gili Tangkon, and Gili Sudak—are located about a 10-minute boat ride from the beach in front of the resort. There, you can go snorkeling and feed the fish. Naturally, the beach right in front of the resort also offers fantastic snorkeling conditions. Furthermore, Bangko Bangko—a world-famous surf spot—can be reached by car in about 30 minutes from the resort. Within walking distance, you will find a small supermarket stocked with daily essentials. A variety of small local restaurants offer diverse options, featuring both local and international cuisine. We would be happy to help you organize day trips—whether for snorkeling, surfing, fishing, shopping, or visiting attractions across Lombok—whatever your heart desires.
