The hotel is relatively new and modern. We had a pool suite and it was very nice, though a bit small by Indonesia luxury hotel standards. The staff is friendly. The hotel provides good value for the price.

I also appreciated the variety of activities available, such as horse riding and cycling, which added a unique charm and allowed guests to enjoy the natural beauty of Sumba in an active way. At night, I treated myself to a spa experience within the resort, which was incredibly relaxing and the perfect way to end the day after a lively evening. Although my stay was short, it was deeply satisfying. Kambaniru Beach Hotel & Resort offers a wonderful combination of comfort, vibrant atmosphere, and heartfelt service. I had to leave, but I will certainly return on my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone visiting East Sumba and looking for a resort with soul, warmth, and memorable experiences.

Perfect for a quick night stop over to go to the airport literally at 2 minute walk. Clean and comfortable has just the amenities you need excellent value for money

Eddy the host was amazing! He went above and beyond to help me with my ferry booking by contacting a few friends and driving me to the office to reserve a cabin. He helped me with a bike rental and gave some recommendations for exploring Sumba. The location is quiet and beautiful, with a nice view and plenty of horses around the property. The room and balcony were large and had everything needed for a comfortable stay

Good place to spend the night, ideal for large group of friends and family, if you book the 2 rooms apartment. Very clean.
