Fantastic view of Etna and the owner was really friendly and helpful.

I stayed there for three nights with my husband and our one-year-old daughter, and it was amazing. Dino made us feel truly welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. The facilities were comfortable and very clean. Dino also recommended several restaurants and places to visit, which we followed—and we didn’t regret it at all. The house is very well located, making it easy to explore the area or simply relax in the garden by the pool. The property has a spacious, lush green garden with a lovely pool, from which you can even see Mount Etna. There are also dogs, horses, and a donkey on the property, which made the stay especially enjoyable for our daughter. Breakfast is thoughtfully prepared and includes local, artisanal products. I would fully recommend this place.

The apartment was spotless, the room was spacious, the staff were exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast offered a nice variety that changed daily.

Excellent heat (winter stay) and water pressure. Comfortable beds. Very nice staff. Great breakfast included. Secure off-street parking. They held our luggage after check out while we visited Mount Etna, which we appreciated a great deal. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops.

Located at 1,910 meters above sea level, this mountain lodge can be more than just a pit stop. There are different types of rooms where one can stay and we choose the one with a private bathroom and a terrace. It was very comfortable, cozy and clean. We even had all the amenities by which I was honestly surprise. After our evening arrival we enjoyed locally produced wine and dinner and then we could soak up the views of Catania being lighten up below us. The next morning started by waking up to incredibly beautiful sunrise. We enjoyed our breakfast, fueled up the energy before kicking off this hike. Whether you decide to stay overnight here or come in the morning, your trip to MOUNT ETNA starts here at ETNA SOUTH. From Rifugio Sapienza, we took the cable car that whisks you up to 2,500 meters. It’s like entering another world – the lush greenery gives way to vast fields of black lava rock.

Location was excellent, near Etna volcano. Facilities were great, super clean and modern. Place was very quiet and breakfast was excellent. The spa is amazing with a salted pool. Sebastiano was such a great host, he took time to show us the facilities. We were lucky to meet the owner at the facility. Did some dinner recommendations and we ended going to his number one spot which was amazing, very typical Sicilian cuisine. Did we mentioned that Sebastiano was great? He was.

The place was very cute. They have a nice courtyard with tables and chairs where we a nice breakfast. I think they serve dinner but not the night we stayed.

This place is awesome. Full disclosure, you are WAY in there - like, on the hillside. The road getting in is super bumpy and hilly, so not for the faint of heart nor for a SmartCar I wouldn't think. We were in a midsize crossover and it struggled a bit. But once you're in, it's awesome. There are just a couple of buildings, with the amazing treehouse as advertised, and we stayed in the smaller, newer building which is basically on its own private property or section of the larger property. 2 bedrooms, one bath, not much else, really. A small table where you can grab a meal together, couch for 2 where the kids sat and decompressed (after their time in the treehouse) while we made one dinner onsite. Which I recommend if you want a glass of wine, because I was not willing to do the drive in - and all of the gates and locks - after a nice glass of Nero D'Avola. So bring provisions with you! We read, and took note of, that gem of advice from other reviewers and it's critical. But actually the supermarket in Nicolosi is awesome (IMPORTANT NOTE: you want to the Supermercati Deco at Via della Quercia, 24/A, 95030 Nicolosi because the other ones that maps suggest are all closed) and convenient, and so that's a quick and reasonably convenient option. But we hiked, toured the lava flows, kids had a blast in the tree house and on the grounds, and we did Mount Etna one day and Aci Castello (recommend!) another day. Great base camp, nice property and building and just what we wanted to do a couple of days of convening with nature. Fun with kids.

We love the property! The house and property are beautiful and clean. It is located right across the street from the city park, which is also beautiful. The B&B is also located less than a block away from many restaurants, bars, Gelateria, etc. The town of Nicolosi is also cute and clean… so, this property fits in perfectly! Ruben was very communicative and a wonderful host during our stay. He even helped us plan our Mount Etna tour/trip, which went so much better than it would have if we had tried to do it on our own. When we come back to Sicily, we plan on staying here again!

Loft area was great for our children. Location was central. Balcony was overlooking area and great to people watch. Very clean and nice.
