It was a dream staying here! Quinta das Susandas has two beautiful pools that are very clean! All areas are very well organized and decorated, carefully maintained. The staff are extremely friendly and the meals were among the best we had throughout our trip.

I love this wonderful place. The rooms are beautiful and the pool is relaxing. Host is wonderful and kind.and the atmosphere is amazing. The area is stunningly beautiful and the home is spectacular inside and out.

Location, food, nature, luxury

Beautiful location! Calm and tranquil place located atop a mountain that overlooks the valley. Things are close, small town, gas station and river, each less than 15 minutes driving.

The whole experience was great. The hot jacuzzi is such a great idea and it's magically to spend the sunset there

Our stay was absolutely perfect, we enjoyed every minute! We were welcomed with homemade port wine and really good recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The room was very clean and cleaned daily, The air conditioning was working very well and made our stay convenient on really hot days. We enjoyed breakfast and infinity pool, and a jacuzzi in the evening as well. Overall our stay was exceptional and we will definitely recommend this gem of Dou ro valley and will arrange another trip to come back!

The view from this property was outstanding, looking out over the Douro River you could see a long ways in both directions. Breakfast was also fantastic, with good bread and jam as well as fresh fruit, ham and cheese. There was a swimming pool, but we didn’t use it. The common areas were very nice.

We booked last minute to stay and enjoy a fantastic dinner at Quinta de Sao Bernardo 1km away. The property and the family were adorable. They waited later dor us to arrive so they could greet us. The apartment is immaculate and they left us port and cake to try in the room. There is a coffee machine with capsules and a kicthen and fridge. You can park your car directly at the house too. It was such a suprise and warm hospitable feeling for our trip, we left an extra tip at the end. Thank you so much 😌🙏🍷

The house is very cozy, we arrived at night and we could see only a few lights in a distance. But, when the sun touched the hills, it was like watching a live painting. Just wonderful. Next day was raining and being above the clouds was even more beautiful.
