Great place with swimming pool outside, inside spa area. Our kid of 10 years old loved it too. Quiet and easy to access. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The restaurants are of great quality. We’d like to highlight the gastronomic restaurant, a must do - every dish is a delicious surprise, it’s all local and service is top! Congrats to the Chef!

The whole experience was great. The hot jacuzzi is such a great idea and it's magically to spend the sunset there

Location, food, nature, luxury

Beautiful room. Clean and quiet. Good breakfast. Hotel staff were very nice.

Very friendly husband and wife team. The breakfast was amazing. The views from the balcony were fabulous. It was a great starting point for exploring the Duoro Valley.

Fátima is so nice! I had too check in late and she accepted to wait for me. All of this with a warm welcoming smile! The room has every little thing you might need and the kitchen too. Incredible location right on the local market. Tnx Fátima!

The location was breathtaking. Nestled in the vineyards of Northern Portugal with the most friendly thoughtful and simply amazing staff and food . Would highly recommend and visit again soon. We came from Canada and absolutely loved it. Wine tasting was really interesting and we learned allot with Fabio he was so knowledgeable about the wines and very friendly and engaging with the guests. The spa was fantastic and treatments and facilities really relaxing. Food was incredible and delicious truly amazing experience hosted by Rui the hotel director. Could not have asked for a better vacation. Will visit soon for sure !!

The staff was very nice. The room was clean.

Loved the mid century vibe, the beautiful view of the Douro, the easy parking, and the great breakfast served in a lovely room. My husband said the shower was the best he’d had in any hotel, ever.

Only stayed one night but the room was fantastic, fully equipped and perfect for a family stay. The host was quick to respond it took only 20mins between the reservation and the check-in. He was very friendly and helpful, also helped with a restaurant dinner reservation. The food was delicious, I totally recommend this combo when visiting peso da régua, accommodation at hospedaria vale do rodo and dinner at churrasqueira xanoca

Pretty much everything!! We absolutely loved the place and the details of the property.

Breakfast was lovely. Served in a picnic basket at the time stated. Fresh produce. A welcome drink of Duoro Valley port. Friendly & helpful staff. Organised a tour to a winery for us & an early pickup for the train station.

I would like to especially mention excellent breakfast and perfect staff, Cesar, Ana and Sara were absolutely kind and helpful. Views from terrace with their great wines were spectacular.

Wonderful host, fresh baked bread, jam water, milk, butter, coffee, tea and excellent port were provided. Restaurant recommendations were wonderful, view was great. Lovely facility. We had a late check in and they were very accommodating.

Spacious with nice decoration.

Loved the outdoor kitchen, grill, and dining table. Having a small pool was also nice. Place was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They even got a crib for us and included some toys for the kiddo.

The place was amazing and the hosts were even better. Absolutely would visit again, it was excellent.

Amazing views from a huge terrace onto Rio Douro - that alone is worth the stay. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and some food for the first breakfast, and the host even left some fresh bread and pastry for that first morning. There was also some wine available to buy and drink at the property, which was really a life saver : ) All in all, I can only recommend this if you are coming to Douro with a group of friends.

We love the place, super spacious rooms, beautiful decor, very nice linens, comfy beds, good water pressure in the showers with plenty of hot water, fully stock kitchen, nice backyard. A few minutes to the city center. We will look for this place again on our next trip to the Douro Valley.
