Lovely accommodation!! Very flexible with us and overall great experience

Everything. Alan and Michelle are the consummate host - welcoming and provided good guidance. In addition they have created an excellentatmosphere both for guests and staff to stay here. The location is perfect for viewing KNP elephant, hippos and birds and our luxury tent was very comfortable. The food was delicious and we were able to meet and talk with many of the other guests. Would love to go again.

We had such a wonderful stay at Komati River Chalets. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. We took a walk down to the river and were greeted by a rather large crocodile! Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. We appreciated the small details, like how soft the towels were. This will become our regular stop over before entering the Kruger.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The view from the swimming pool was spectacular, and the staff were very friendly.

Accomodation is well located IN the south-eastern part of the Kruger Park. So during your stay you don't have to get through the Kruger gates anymore which is fine because there it can be quite busy every morning. Once you are leaving the hotel gate, it takes you half an hour to reach the main roads of Kruger in the Crocodile Bridge area, but in that 30 minutes you already will meet lots of animals and have a chance for good sightings like - in our case - a leopard, lion, hippo and elephants.

An excellent stopover, where Kokkie’s exceptional kindness after our very late arrival made all the difference. Spacious, comfortable rooms, quality bedding, strong air conditioning, a clean pool, lush gardens, a generous breakfast, and friendly staff make it ideal for families before going to Kruger Park.

Charming little BnB with a beautiful garden and great breakfast. The hosts are super friendly and they have 3 lovely dogs (bonus hosts🐕)

The property is well located and very convenient for a short stopover. The units are clean, simple, and functional, and the environment is quiet and safe. It’s a good option for travelers who need a practical place to rest for the night.

Probably the best host/owner I have ever experienced. Kind, helpful, super attentive. The food, both dinner and breakfast, were excellent. The beds are comfy, the rooms cleans and well equipped. Communication was excellent, too.

Stunning little place with everything that we needed as a stopover on our way in to the Kruger National Park. Comfortable bed, everything you need in the kitchenette, a full size fridge/freezer.

Location is perfect for Kruger. It's an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended!

The Guesthouse Manager (owner maybe) was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived very late at night she stayed up to receive us and make sure we were well set up before retreating to bed. The accommodations were pristine and the pool was even clean!

It was a short stay but very memorable. Place was clean, quiet, and well maintained with a beautiful landscape garden. Host was very friendly and welcoming. I requested a 12pm early check-in for one or two rooms; host advised out of the 4 rooms booked, he will make 2 rooms available but on our arrival 3 rooms were ready for us.

The host was super friendly and supportive. She made us feel very welcome and helpful with advice. Everything was very clean. Nice big fridge, lovely linen and aircon. We had a lovely stay

Great stopover after the chaotic Moz-RSA border post. The owners thought of everything. Easy entrance, large parking space. Small new fresh little splashpool. Full size kitchen and DSTV. Good beds. Nice airconditioning in every room.

Boomhuisie is a place where every step is taken to ensure a comfortable stay for guests, with a perfect balance of hospitality and privacy. The apartment feels like home, with ample space, and the kitchen great for self catering. Great location, tucked back into a neighborhood but just a couple minutes' drive to the main road running through town and going to Kruger. It's only about 10 minutes to Crocodile Bridge Gate. We would definitely stay again when in Komatipoort!
