Excellent value, dog friendly and really nice folks. Breakfast was great and the location was right in the heart of Hawes. We managed to get free parking too, probably not so easy come summer 😁

Very nice place to stay, friendly & helpful staff, nice room, food was great and lots of it too which was perfect after a big walk in the hills. The open fire in the bar / dining area made it warm and cosy and our room was nice and warm too with heating that we could control. Parking was free in the market place nearby. I'd already read the good reviews before coming, so wasn't surprised it was good!

Dating back to the 19th century, Middle House - Wensleydale, Yorkshire Dales offers a bar and restaurant.

Comfortable, clean, very nice staff, excellent breakfast. Parking lot behind the pub is a great bonus.
