Lovely property , great location , cost and comfortable

Everything, the cabin was quiet, relaxing, beautiful, comfortable, just what we needed and my husband loved the relaxation of it all. A truly amazing 60th birthday retreat ❤️

Wonderful lodge in a perfect location. The dogs settled straight away and loved being able to explore the grassed area. Hot tub and sauna were also lovely additions. We will definitely be back!

Lovely, dog-friendly cottage that is much bigger than it appears in the photos. Peaceful and quiet location, especially for New Year - we didn’t hear a single firework! The log fire was a highlight with plenty of wood and kindling available.

Massive property with plenty of room for large family gatherings very old and individual buildings we loved it and our time there will be coming back

Very personable and friendly team. Long distance drive meant that I would be arriving late. Not a problem for the Wheatsheaf Inn, I received a phone call half-way through my journey to see how I was getting on. Rooms very clean, I had a great night sleep, bed was very comfy. The breakfast was 10/10 with lots of choices outside of your standard cooked breakfast.

Steve and Paula were very welcoming and relaxed hosts. Breakfasts were excellent with a very varied menu to choose from. Room was spacious and comfortable. Hosts were very knowledgable of the local area and gave great advice on places to visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Purves Cottage! Our kids loved playing all the games and running around in the back garden. We enjoyed the beautiful, large kitchen and the fireplaces. Sally was very responsive and went above and beyond leaving a very nice welcome basket upon our arrival. Would definitely stay again!
