A charming historic country house, full of character on the edge of a sleepy village in rural Berwickshire with views through the tall trees to the romantic Lammermuir Hills. Originally the family home of the minister, the house has been extended from the 1770s onwards.
Large, generous bedrooms and outside, a mature garden with fruit trees, beech and oaks. The house has a barbecue area, a trampoline, and a swing ball. Several guests have hired a hot tub for the duration of their stay.
I am married with two children Charlie and Rosella and try to create sculptures when I have a free moment from letting out two houses and cleaning baby bottles.
Things that I have done that I am proud of: married a lovely girl and now mother, completed the London Marathon, managed to change a Christmas nappy without too much mess, and share an exhibition at Falmouth Art Gallery with Matisse and others in a group show about artists who have overcome adversities called Soaring Spirits.
Dreams: going back to Venice and Sicily.

Swinton has a lovely peaceful village green with childrens play area and an excellent hotel - the Wheatsheaf which serves great food at reasonable prices. Please note there are no shops in Swinton, although Norham, Coldstream and Duns are a short drive away.
