Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Ena

Spacious! We had plenty of space for privacy and for coming together. We could easily walk into town and explore the old parts and shrines and shop for groceries. Cami brought us authentic Japanese style breakfast each morning that were unique and delicious. She also sent information ahead of time so we could navigate by train and bus to Akechi and then she picked us up at the bus stop with a warm welcoming smile. Restaurant across the street was recommended and it did not disappoint. There’s traffic during the day but at night it was super quiet. If I ever come back to the area I would stay here again. It was such a cosy place, it had all the amenities we needed like the indoor kitchen, outdoor charcoal bbq. The place is like a granny flat separate to the main house which was next door, and allowed good privacy. The host, Junko, was so hospitable and kindly picked us up and took us to the train station, she also made us something small to eat on our trip back to Tokyo. We loved how peaceful the area was, it felt like a nice getaway from the busy cities we had been to. Beautiful scenery of the mountains surrounding the house. We loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. The bus station is a very close walk away and was able to get us to the Nakasendo trail easily, which we started from Asahigaoka Park, Nakatsugawa headed towards Tsumago-Juku. We really appreciated that the property was clean, secluded, and surrounded by nature. The amenities were a great plus, and the interior design was well thought out for those who are seeking a relaxing retreat.
