Breakfast was great, host was able to accommodate dietary needs. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and had lots of recommendations for us. The room was even nicer than the pictures. Going to the bathhouse was a really nice experience as well. I would love to stay here for a longer amount of time again!

It was such a cosy place, it had all the amenities we needed like the indoor kitchen, outdoor charcoal bbq. The place is like a granny flat separate to the main house which was next door, and allowed good privacy. The host, Junko, was so hospitable and kindly picked us up and took us to the train station, she also made us something small to eat on our trip back to Tokyo. We loved how peaceful the area was, it felt like a nice getaway from the busy cities we had been to. Beautiful scenery of the mountains surrounding the house. We loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. The bus station is a very close walk away and was able to get us to the Nakasendo trail easily, which we started from Asahigaoka Park, Nakatsugawa headed towards Tsumago-Juku. Thank you Junko-san for your kind hospitality!
