The location is right on a fantastic stretch of beach (Santana Beach). You can walk on the empty beach for ages passing other beaches like Popoyo Beach. The waves can get a bit scary, but that is true for 90% of the Pacific Coast. The Mar Adentro is a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place. We stayed almost a week and loved it so much, that we even returned for a second stay, when we needed the Pacific refreshment after some hot weeks in Nicaragua. The rooms are absolutely clean and very comfortable. The staff is super nice and the restaurant is pretty good, too. The menu is somewhat limited but there are some great meat and veg choices. We also enjoyed the atmosphere. If you are looking for a party place, it's probably not for you. THe Mar Adentro is really quiet, laid back and peaceful. Other options for bars and restaurants are within walking distance, though. It is not exactly cheap, but we found it was more than worth the price.

Overlooks a world class surf break in a beautiful, natural area. Has a great outdoor bar/restaurant where you can longe in hammocks, play pool or chat to other surfers in between sessions.

Great location, lovely to be in a friendly hostel that's next to the party hostels. The perfect balance of chilling and then easy access to fun when you want it! Directly from local, cheap & delicious food and super easy walk to Popoyo main break. Love the yoga space upstairs. The amenities are simple yet clean. I stayed in a private room. Would visit again.

I stayed at TwoTen Surf Home over New Year, and it was the perfect place to unwind, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of Popoyo. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing, sleeping under a mosquito net with the ocean breeze coming through the windows, and having quiet, peaceful nights made my stay here feel like bliss. My little house at TwoTen was simple but perfect—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy with just one sheet, and the ceiling fan kept the room cool. I loved having my own space to relax, including a hammock outside where I spent many hours reflecting and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Everything was spotless, and Ben, the owner of TwoTen, clearly takes pride in keeping the place in great condition. TwoTen offered the ideal balance for me—a calm, private space to relax while still being close to Amahula, the social hub next door. I appreciated being able to dip into the social scene when I wanted and then retreat to my own comfortable spot. Ben was welcoming, and the whole place had a laid-back charm. TwoTen is a peaceful spot that offers everything you need to recharge. I left feeling more relaxed and I’d love to return one day. Highly recommend it if you want a tranquil base in Popoyo with easy access to surf, stunning views, and a good night’s sleep.

We had an amazing time at Club Surf Popoyo. Santiago was a great host and always available if we had any questions. The place is very quiet and located right on the beach. It's only a few minutes' walk to Popoyo's main surf spots. The rooms are very clean, and there's also a perfectly equipped kitchen that we used a lot for cooking. We'd stay there again any time! The property was absolutely beautiful and Carolina and her staff were so sweet and accommodating. The room was clean and breezy and bed area was like sleeping in a tree house; we loved it!!

The location is unbeatable—just steps from the beach—and the pool was perfect for relaxing. Karina went above and beyond by setting up beautiful birthday decorations, making our visit truly unforgettable. Highly recommend for a memorable and relaxing getaway!

The Villa is beautiful and very efficient. We really liked the privacy of the pool and the peaceful garden. The kitchen was nice because we like to cook, but the food from the restaurant was excellent. So easy to access the beach and the outdoor shower was a nice touch.
