Fabulously appointed self contained units with everything you could ask for! We particularly appreciated the mini fridge and fresh milk! Lovely little touches and great style. The bed is super comfortable and the shower room was perfect. We liked the environmentally.conscious approach! Brilliant!. We will be returning.... Breakfast delicious and plentiful, dinner equally impressive! Attentive and courteous staff.

This is a very special bed and breakfast run by a very kind and gracious man. The house is beautifully decorated and was warm and cosy on arrival, thank goodness, as it was -1 outside! The room was just perfect - the single beds were very comfortable and there was a wardrobe for coats and hung clothes. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. The shower was particularly nice with a large shower rose and shower gel etc for our use. The tea/coffee station was fabulous and fully equipped with all sorts.. including an espresso maker and very lovely biscuits! The breakfast was very generous and we were given a choice each day. Adam, the owner couldn't have been more welcoming, kind and caring.

The location, the property itself, restaurant, the personel all were truly excellent. From beginning to end every detail was great. We also had dinner and both the food and the service were fantastic. There was also complimentary whiskey and sloe gin which is such a nice touch. Small details make huge differences.

With picturesque English gardens, West Lodge is a 19th-century Victorian house, offering free parking and good breakfasts.
