Everything!! The hosts are the best that I have met in Japan. They greeted us when we got there, prepared gifts for my children and myself. Showed us around and were super nice. They even showed us their place which is connected to the suite we were staying! I love all the amenities they have. The beddings are very soft, they had soft and firm pillows to choose from, they had games for the kids, and best of all, a washer and dryer!!!!! We love every moment of it and my kids said this is the best house! I will come back to stay longer next time.

We used the property as a family of 3, and we were happily surprised with the wide space we had for living. The living room especially was very comfortable. We had everything we needed and more, and the rooms were filled with kind notes from the owner giving pieces of advice and tips about the usage in Japan as well as the surroundings. The owner was also very friendly and very responsive.

Although the location is a bit far from Kumamoto Castle, it’s manageable if you plan your transportation in advance. The last bus to Kikuchi leaves around 6 PM, so public transport can be a little inconvenient. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The countryside scenery felt peaceful and comforting, reminding me of my hometown. The hosts provided bicycles, and riding through the rice fields was incredibly relaxing and beautiful. The hostess made an absolutely delicious breakfast, and both hosts were unbelievably kind. They treated me like their own child, even driving me to Kumamoto Castle and drawing a route map for me. Their warmth and hospitality made my stay truly special. Next time, I would love to stay for a few more days just to quietly enjoy the rural atmosphere and beautiful countryside life.

Great place with very cheap price considering all the services you get. Room and all the equipment are comfortable and very functional. What exceeded our expectations was the free barbecue dinner arrangement, where the hotel provided all the drinks, vegetables, rice, seasoning, grill, and all equipment for free!
