I had an amazing time staying at the star eyes hostel in weligama. The staff is super friendly and this hostel feels like home. I wanted to stay there for a few days and ended up staying for multiple weeks. I met so many great people, I liked that the location was a bit out of weligama city because it was more quiet. thank you for everything Ishan!!! made my time in Sri Lanka very special. will definitely come back 🫶🏻

Loved it here! Comfortable rooms, a nice little pool, delicious breakfast and super nice employees. Also a beautiful undeveloped beach just a 2 min walk and best of all the miniramp and skatepark! Super smooth concrete, nice selection of obstacles and super fun to skate. Hope I get the chance to come back some day, thank you to Baxter and the team!

Kiss blossom is a wonderful hotel. The staff is so nice and extremely accommodating. The rooms are huge with comfy beds and the grounds are well kept. They also have the best juice served with breakfast. Highly recommend!

Nisha, the caretaker, is beyond fantastic. She is so thoughtful and kind. She helped me find (through her daughter) a taxi to a national park and after I told her (genuinely!!) that the mango she had given me was the best of my life, she brought me a bag the next morning with two off her tree from home. Her cooking is excellent. The property is clean and quiet.

I had a wonderful stay at River Post! Even got upgraded to a more spacious room. The Internet was fast, the bed comfortable, and the aircon a blessing. Manoj and Janith were very welcoming and helpful. They helped me get a motorbike for a decent price, and even connected me to a neighbor with a sowing machine when I needed a piece of clothing to fix :)

Kindest hosts we have met so far. We were so surprised to see such big room. After travelling for some time it was so nice to be able to sit in the room (on the balcony). The facilities including our room were spotless clean. Breakfasts were delicious and most importantly local! We were served juice every morning with our meals. Jungle Beach is 7 minute walk from the guesthouse!

Is a perfect room in a beautiful location. Close to the center but far enough to rest. You can rent a motorbike and Modisha and family will do whatever is necessary to make you feel like home. Breakfast is good.

The lush garden featured a charming hammock and swing, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming. We can ask delicious local breakfast based on our preferences, and the owner's coffee was simply outstanding. Essentials like bath towels and toilet paper were provided. The property was a wildlife haven, with two adorable dogs and frequent visits from monkeys, birds, and squirrels. Convenience was key—supermarkets, restaurants, and beaches were all within walking distance. The motorbike rental service significantly expanded my exploration possibilities. His warm family—always smiling and incredibly kind—made the stay truly memorable. His mom even cooked curry for us. It was delicious. An unexpected delight was discovering the owner, Amila, speaks fluent Japanese. He generously shared insights about Sri Lankan culture, making this more than just a accommodation, but a cultural experience. Highly recommended!
