The house is beautiful and so well maintained - water views from kitchen and lounge, central heating for cosy indoor stay and all the amenities required (plus more). We were 4 families with two toddlers and had everything in the house to cater for all ages. Its spacious, clean with lovely decor in every nook and corner. To add, Gavin is an amazing host. Highly recommend this little gem - by far the best staycation we have had.

Beautiful waterfront location and spacious living areas with amazing views. Pet friendly. Lovely backyard and enjoyed the local ducks visiting of a morning. We appreciated the extra touches such as the billiard table and the kayaks though did not get time to enjoy them since we were visiting for a family wedding in the area. Owners were amazing in communicating when we had any questions. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this bright, clean, spacious apartment which was a home from home during our first week in Australia from the UK as it had everything you could want! The hosts were amazing, regularly checking that we had everything we needed and Lake Macquarie was such a good choice to stay as it felt so safe. The lake is beautiful & parking at the property was easy (on the drive). Warners bay was just a short car journey away with shops, restaurants, theatre. From this base we were able to drive to beautiful beaches (Redhead was our favourite) I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again in a heartbeat if I visited Australia again. Thank you Max and Gabrielle for a wonderful stay!

Room was clean and big enough, beds were comfy. We used private transport to get around. Location was central to where we needed to go. Kids loved spending time in the pool. The coffee van (pet friendly too!) out the front was helpful for parents in the morning.

I like staying here it is very easy to book and the staff are all friendly and have my booking ready for check in, There has never been any drama. Fantastic Bar and Food makesit a very enjoyable stay.
