Every tiny detail was exceptional. From the MAGNIFICENT welcome of the GM and warm greeting each morning, to the immaculate modern rooms with super comfy beds, to the great value cooked breakfast bar, to the location - right in the heart of Katoomba central shopping/dining area ... it was honestly the BEST value I have ever spent on accommodation. The GM is exceptional - you felt like you were coming home each day/night. Don't agonise over this decision - its a done deal, this hotel is outstanding value and a warm experience.

Our two days in the Blue Mountains unfortunately fell victim to the Northeaster coming in - visibility was less than 100m, sometimes even the other side of the street seemed foggy and it rained cats and dogs. So we were very happy about this cozy hotel! It is historic and well-preserved (but of course with all modern amenities you need in the rooms). Fun to explore the different rooms, there's a nice bar and somewhere they have hidden away a brewery it seems. Oh, and the dining room... Great - had a good breakfast there (we had enjoyed dinner in the other brewery in town). The room was a bit smaller than expected, but for one night it was ok. It was quiet and we slept very well. There is a new parking garage next to the hotel - only disadvantage is, that you are exposed to the elements when you walk over there.

Very charming hotel with excellent staff. We felt welcome and the deskclerk gave us a lot of info about the area. The room was spacious, clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. A great comfortable stay.

Hotel is absolutely lovely and has a character! Bed was extremely comfortable, I had very effective massage chair in my room which was very useful after a long day of hiking. Shower was amazing and hotel was super quiet. I appreciate that I was allowed to leave my luggage in the hotel after my check-out so I could do some hiking before my bus. Hotel also has kitchen free to use and free filtered water for drinking. Kettle and sink in the room are very handy aswell. I could not be more happy about my stay!

Truly excellent hospitality. What makes this place really special is the staff. Location is great to explore the Blue Mountains without the tourist crowds. Great on-site restaurant using locally sourced produce as main ingredients. Sauna, hot tub, game room…

Staff were great, helped with site seeing and gave recommendations on resteraunts etc.

Great place. Wish we could have stayed longer

Great price for good quality rooms without unnecessary luxury (nonsense). Great location for exploring nature. Quiet lounge area great for getting some study done. I would have spent a couple of hours engaged in some social intercourse at the hotel bar had it not been for a minor cold affecting the nose and feet.

Everything was ideal. The room was large and comfortable. A light breakfast was provided. And the location was ideal.

The staff were super helpful and friendly and the room was beautiful. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. This is such a quaint little hotel, with so much history, so beautifully presented.

Close to Govett's Leap one of the best lookouts in the Blue Mountains. Cabin was great in a bush setting and well appointed.

Location was perfect as we were keen to discover more walks around Blackheath. The property had such a beautiful garden, and I loved the peace it provided. I loved that as soon as I walked in the door I felt at home and it was cosy. The cottage was better than the what photos provided.

Good facilities, nice airy place, great kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds. Didn’t use car all weekend.

This is a fabulous pet friendly stay unit. Comfortable! Bedrooms, great Comfortable lounge room Good bathroom. Just a simple kitchen, well equipped for coffee and toast. Don't plan on cooking a meal, enjoy to local restaurants. The yard was fully fenced and nice to be in. It's a great base for the mountains.

A beautiful and comfortable period home in the heart of Blackheath, very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, recently renovated cottage. Pictures cannot give this cottage a justice. You need to feel it. The cottage is located in a quiet location in a short walking distance to local attractions and a train station. Specious bedrooms. The kitchen is modern and has everything you might need for cooking. Dining area has a panoramic window to an old stone garden with mature trees. It is a very beautiful place.
