The Red Letterbox is a comfortable, home-away-from-home, a base for you to explore this vibrant region. Here we are just far enough away from the highway for serenity, but close enough for a short stroll to the shops for breakfast or a meal. And you're just a short hop to some amazing climbing, canyoning, bushwalking and mountain bike riding areas. If you travel with your indoor, well-mannered, furry friends, they are most welcome. If you have children, sadly there are no extra beds so you may find elsewhere more comfortable with your family.
I love providing guests with a place to kick back and relax. And if you're brought your doggies, I can show you where to take them for their outdoors mountains experience too. Pussycats most welcome too! And if you want to talk travel or hiking, I am an avid traveller and have explored several of the nearby hiking trails too.
What can I say - this is the Blue Mountains National Park with some of the most amazing Ausie bush and mountains vistas, both easy and challenging walks, great climbing and canyoning plus really amazing mountain bike riding trails. Plus the village of Blackheath has an amazing vibe which you will really love. The autumn colours, the crisp cool winter days (with occasional snow), warm aromatic spring days and balmy summer evenings - Blackheath has it all. Come and sample it for yourself.
