Excellent facilities Great food

EVERYTHING (deliberately in capital letters). This is a phenomenal hotel and undoubtedly the most spectacular place we've ever visited. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and we already can't wait to go back. We would highly recommend the Markee Castle to ANYONE.

Everything was fabulous from checking to checking out ARTHER on reception went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after as did Sarah and all the staff in the bars and restaurant it was one of the best experiences we have had in all our travels worldwide as my wife and I are both in our mid 80 and we’re looked after as if we were family

Really nice hotel in the middle of town. Bed was comfortable. Nice sized entry room. View out to the river was lovely. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, was nice. No complaints, would be back again

The property is very quiet and was convenient for our needs. It is very easy to access and the rooms were very comfortable. All of the amenities that we needed were provided and both the hosts were absolutely lovely and welcoming to us. We couldn’t have been happier!

Noelle was great! She’s a great advocate for the area and had lots of suggestions.

So clean and cozy! Close to Sligo, and also to the wonderful Wild Atlantic Coastline.

The whole set up from entrance to property to the beautiful finish of the house. Everything was there that was needed. The standard was incredible and the place was immaculate.

Marina and family were the most magnificent host in all of Ireland! Great conversation, great information, fresh scones, butter, cream and a full breakfast. Bed was cozy. Entire space was perfect flr our family. We appreciated not having to leave for breakfast. It felt like family.

Great place to stay. So happy that the proprietress stopped by and showed me that I could enjoy the courtyard in back. Lovely, cared-for place. I truly enjoyed it.
