United StatesAbsolutely lovely house in West Ireland, Bernadette was a wonderful host — we had car trouble and arrived late and she had tea waiting for us in the sitting room. The house was impeccably clean and neat, she was so kind and friendly. We felt well cared for, the room was very comfortable. Surrounding garden and area was gorgeous, and very close to Cong.

United StatesRoom was clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of space to store luggage and clothing. Bed was very comfortable. Don't expect the Ritz Carlton. It is not that, but was quaint, comfortable and clean and in a historic building. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly. Would love to come back for a longer stay.

Great location,friendly welcoming staff. Rooms were lovely plus a very comfortable big bed, a shower and a separate bath! Breakfast was good , as was the food served in the restaurant and bar. Nice outdoor area to sit and have a meal / drink or just a chat. Looking forward to a return visit.

The location was perfect for exploring and for a day at Galway races. The views are beautiful. We stayed in squat suite and our room was very spacious and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. The staff are exceptional- well done! Wildes is a lovey place to dine and the platters in the bar a good option for a lite bite.a cosy fire was lit too! Don’t forget to go out on the loch on the boat from the castle.

The breakfast was my favorite part - the man who runs it is a true delight to chat with, and just exudes Irish charm. The location is great (super close to Cong and Ashford Castle) & place is quiet for sleeping!
